SECreTOUR: sustainable tourism, culture and territory
La Romantica takes part in the European project SECreTOUR, an initiative dedicated to the development of sustainable, cultural and creative tourism in rural and peripheral areas.
Through its collaboration with the UNESCO Chair of the Università della Svizzera italiana — USI, the UNESCO Chair of the University of Genoa and the pilot project “Anfitratro del San Giorgio” dedicated to Monte San Giorgio, a UNESCO World Heritage site, La Romantica contributes to enhancing the local territory.
The project promotes a new way of experiencing the destination: slower, more authentic and closer to nature.

La Romantica is officially part of the UN Tourism Affiliate Members network. A recognition that confirms our commitment to promoting tourism that creates value for local communities, fosters dialogue between cultures and contributes to sustainable growth at both local and international levels.
SapoCycle: Circular Economy and Social Inclusion
La Romantica actively participates in the SapoCycle initiative, which collects unused hotel soap and gives it a new life. Through a recycling process involving people with disabilities and a network of dedicated distribution partners, the soap is reprocessed and donated to families in need. This concrete initiative helps reduce waste, improve access to hygiene and promote social inclusion, making hospitality more responsible and mindful.
